Le Congo traverse l’une des périodes les plus sombres de son histoire. Les promesses de changement ont été étouffées par l’incompétence, la cupidité et le mépris de ceux qui se sont succédé au pouvoir.

Si rien ne change, les soixante-cinq prochaines années seront un simple copier-coller des décennies de chaos que nous avons déjà endurées.

Mais ce qui choque encore plus, ce n’est pas seulement la faillite des anciens. C’est la bassesse d’une jeunesse qui, au lieu de briser le cercle, s’agenouille aujourd’hui devant les enfants de ceux qui ont détruit la nation.

Oui, une jeunesse qui devrait incarner la rupture, la résistance, l’innovation et la dignité, se contente d’admirer et de suivre ceux qui n’ont hérité que du vol et du mensonge.

Les victimes deviennent les applaudisseurs de leurs oppresseurs. Les héritiers de la souffrance courent derrière les héritiers du pillage. Voilà le vrai drame !

Une jeunesse qui adore les fils et les filles des bourreaux ne construit pas son avenir : elle prolonge son esclavage.

Mais, jeunesse congolaise, l’histoire n’est pas figée. Tu n’es pas condamnée à subir éternellement. Le système que tu crains, que tu crois invincible, est en réalité maîtrisable. Il ne tient que par ton silence, par ta soumission, par ton renoncement.

Prends conscience que tu es plus nombreuse, plus forte et plus légitime que ceux qui se partagent ton pays comme un butin.

Comprends que ton destin n’est pas de servir les fils et les filles de ceux qui t’ont écrasé, mais de bâtir une nation nouvelle.

Refuse l’illusion des “modèles de réussite” construits sur le sang et les larmes du peuple.

Le Congo n’a pas besoin d’une jeunesse complice, il a besoin d’une jeunesse courageuse.
Il n’a pas besoin de spectateurs passifs, il a besoin de bâtisseurs lucides.
Il n’a pas besoin de courtisans, il a besoin de conquérants d’avenir.

Jeunesse congolaise, relève-toi !
Laisse tomber les idoles de pacotille.
Éteins les lumières artificielles qui t’aveuglent.
Prends la torche de la vérité, de la dignité et de la justice.

Car la vraie victoire n’est pas d’entrer dans le système pourri des pères, mais de le renverser pour en construire un autre, plus juste, plus humain, plus digne.

Le futur ne s’attend pas. Le futur se crée.
Et c’est toi, jeunesse congolaise, qui dois être son architecte.

A full professor of linguistics and English language at Marien Ngouabi University, former Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Human Sciences, and now Director General of ENAM — you’ve been at the helm of this institution for barely two months, and already the parasites of mediocrity have gathered to launch their smear campaigns.

Let it be known: their tactics are worthless, their underhanded attacks fall flat. Press on, Professor — press on with unwavering resolve.

With every step forward, some collapse, others tremble — and make no mistake: it is a grace for this nation to shed the mediocrity that has birthed nothing but corruption, manipulation, and shame.

For over twenty years, ENAM has been infected by a decaying system in which competitive exams, academic scores, and diplomas were traded like market goods. The consequences are dire: dishonest magistrates, compromised educators, ineffective diplomats, and unqualified administrators entrenched in public institutions.

True to your word, you set out to uproot the very corruption that has long plagued this institution.

Indeed, Professor, you are unbolting — piece by piece — the edifice of mediocrity. Their lamentations are not cries of injustice, but the wails of those whose privilege was built on rot.

We will never let your name be dragged through the mud by those who lack honor, dignity, and substance.

In a Congo where far too many intellectuals have sold their freedom of thought for a plate of cassava, you stand firm — loyal to discipline, loyal to principles, loyal to excellence. You are the living testament that integrity still breathes in this land.

Courage, Professor. Hold firm. The ENAM of tomorrow, the education of our youth, and the dignity of Congo rest in the hands of those who refuse to kneel before corruption and incompetence.

History will remember that while others bowed down, you chose to stand tall, strike hard, and restore hope to an entire generation.

All our support to Professor Yvon Pierre Ndongo-Ibara! Let the mediocre cry, shout, and collapse — they are not what Congo needs. This nation needs upright men of conviction.

She always reminds me of this truth that follows me like a law of life :

This morning again, I left with a full heart — rich with a wealth that no one can steal.
